All State Office Buildings are closed on Sundays and State designated holidays.

Parking
Designated parking is available for State of Iowa employees and visitors to the Capitol Complex.
Monuments and Walking Paths
Enjoy the several miles of sidewalks on the Capitol Complex with the self guided monument tour or on any of the nine walking paths, varying in distance from .4 to 1.4 miles.

Café Baratta’s
Café Baratta’s, located in the State Historical Building at 600 E. Locust Street, is offering lunch options for State employees and museum visitors every other Wednesday from 11:00a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Food Trucks
Between May 1 and December 31, approved Food Trucks are able to set up in Visitor Parking Lot #26, east of the Judicial Building.
Capitol Cafeteria
The cafeteria will reopen January 2025.
