All State Office Buildings are closed on Sundays and State designated holidays.

Parking
Designated parking is available for State of Iowa employees and visitors to the Capitol Complex.
Monuments and Walking Paths
Enjoy the several miles of sidewalks on the Capitol Complex with the self guided monument tour or on any of the nine walking paths, varying in distance from .4 to 1.4 miles.

Capitol Cafeteria
The cafeteria is open to the public on Mondays through Thursdays from 7:00am to 2:30pm.
Food Trucks
The Food Truck Zones at the Capitol Complex and 6200 Park Ave. will open on May 1, 2025.
