Since 2006, outstanding undergraduate researchers from the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, and the University of Northern Iowa have gathered in Des Moines for a day dedicated to Research in the Capitol. This presentation celebrates how undergraduates learning by doing research in a variety of fields. Students display research done with their faculty mentors in the Rotunda of the State Capitol Building. Poster presentations allow the students to share their work with state officials and reporters while discussing how research has enriched their educations, careers, and contributions to Iowa. *MORE INFO/PHOTOS: http://www.uiowa.edu/icru/article/research-capitol *LOCATION: We take up the entire first floor (Rotunda area and wings). There are 30 double sided poster boards, a podium/speakers, and 60 presenters from the three Universities. *TIME: The student present from 11:30-1:30PM, but Conference Technologies and Freeman Co. will be there in the morning and afternoon to set-up/tear-down.
