What is I/3?I3

I/3 (Integrated Information for Iowa) is the State of Iowa’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. I/3 supports State financial processes, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, General Accounting, Fixed Assets, Budget preparation, and Applicant Tracking (also known as BrassRing).  I/3 was implemented in June 2004.  DAS strives to provide a stable, reliable and accurate system through implementing improvements, upgrades and the development of tracking and monitoring tools. We are also working to expand the functionality of I/3.

Where can I get I/3 accounting forms?

I/3 accounting forms are accessible through SAE’s site.

Who do I contact with questions about I/3?

For system performance-related issues, please utilize the Performance Reporting Tool if it has been installed on your computer. (You will see a {?} icon in your desktop icon tray.) If you do not have the Performance Reporting Tool, please call the Technology Service Desk at 515-281-5703

I’m an I/3 user. How do I get to I/3 Online, the intranet site for accessing manuals, tracking the system’s status, learning about training courses, and so forth?

In February 2007 an intranet site was launched for I/3 users on the state’s network. The web address is http://intranet.iowa.gov/i3/, but please note: you can only access this site if you have access to the state’s network. If you’re not able to open this page and feel you should be, please contact the Technology Service Desk at 515-281-5703 or 1-800-532-1174.
