State Historical Building closed this morning due to power outage
“Caucus! The Musical” performance still planned for this evening
DES MOINES — The State Historical Building closed to the public this morning due to a power outage that was discovered at about 7 a.m. As of 11:30 a.m., power has been restored to the building, but safety checks are still underway.
“Caucus! The Musical” will be performed as scheduled at 7:30 p.m. tonight. Ticket holders should visit www.caucusthemusical.com for additional updates and information. Café Baratta’s buffet dinner also will be held at 5:30 p.m. in conjunction with tonight’s performance.
