Information Technology Administration

The Information Technology Enterprise' primary responsibilities are in the areas of providing information technology, developing and implementing recommended standards for information technology, developing and maintaining security policies and systems and coordinating the acquisition of information technology by participating agencies.

To provide the best data processing services to our customers through the effective utilization of existing and new information technology. DAS-ITE will implement and support technologies and processes that will increase service to customers and enhance staff productivity.

Chief Information officer

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the State of Iowa is the Information Technology Enterprise (ITE) Chief Operating Officer. The CIO provides statewide leadership for enterprise-wide information technology (IT) service delivery. The primary objective of the office is to centrally focus IT initiatives, activities, and direction for the state. Based upon customer requirements, this office is responsible for incorporating customer needs into actions through the development and implementation of IT plans, projects, policies, and standards. These efforts assist customers in providing more efficient and effective service delivery to Iowa citizens.
